I think h...It interesting that you mention Hockney. I think his oils of Yorkshire landscapes (potencially a tame and trite subject manner - see Ashley Jackson) are amongst his most powerful works.<BR/><BR/>http://www.tate.org.uk/about/pressoffice/pressreleases/2007/9412.htm<BR/><BR/>He painted them for a friend who was dying and you can feel the love for his friend and the land in them.<BR/><BR/>I really love the direction you're going in Graham.
