The Walk - Finished

I finished carving and then painted ‘The Walk’ today, the actual colours are much warmer than this photo, but hopefully you get the idea :)

Lovely, it could be me....but the man looks like he's walking towards you, and the dog walking away?? I haven't put my lenses in yet!

Really glad you like it :) Actually all the photos I’ve taken to work from are of men walking dogs, perhaps I could get some of you walking Lola at some point :)…saw Julia and Paul this afternoon, should have snapped them too…must remember to take my camera with me at all times :)… The man and dog are intended to be going in the same direction in this one, so hopefully putting your lenses in will fix this ;)…strange that I started painting these dog walking pictures and then got a dog…must be Karma…I’m planning on painting some horse ones soon….Lord knows where I’ll put that ;)

Gosh - what a terrific effect you are getting by applying gold to the canvas Graham - most impressive. Well done. Pythius-Peacocke (Border collie) and I look forward to meeting up with you both on one of our walks around Eynsham.

Many thanks Helen (& Pythius) Glad you both like them, I’m sure there will be a few more of these to come. See you out walking soon:)
