Painting in the shed...

Did some work on ‘The Orange Grove’ painting today, working up some of the background buildings and starting to play with some lines. Still very much feeling my way, this is a very experimental painting and I’ve no idea exactly where it’ll end up, but it’s starting to become interesting I think…:)

A little colour...

Started blocking in some of the colours today, still more drawing to be done, but wanted to get some of this down first…hopefully it’ll start to get a little clearer as this goes on and you’ll begin to get an idea of what this painting is actually of :)

More drawing...

Worked in a little more structure today in between planting things....it's starting to take shape, I'm pleased with the way the drawing is going, i think I've got a reasonably strong structure here...and I'm happy with the idea behind the painting...need to turn the upper left figure into a flock of starlings next and then it'll be onto the painting itself...which will be the tricky part :)
